Canarygrass, Reed
This plant is a perennial which provides food, cover in winter and nesting for waterfowl and other gamebirds. It stands drought or flooding. Plant dykes, banks or dams. It is excellent for deer, horses or cattle and grows 3' to 6' tall. Plant 10 to 12 pounds per acre April to July.
Chickory, Puna
Chickory is a perennial herb of high nutritional quality developed in New Zealand. It is very palatable, excellent for summer and fall grazing for cattle and deer. It will produce 24,000 pounds per acre (12 Tons). When seeding, plant 5 pounds per acre in pure stands or 2.5 pounds per acre in a mixture. Spring seeding is recommended, but early fall sowing is quite successful. Fertilize with 5-10-15, 10-10-10 or have the soil tested. First, grazing should be in 6 to 10 weeks. A mixture of 5 pounds of Chickory and 5 pounds of Ladino Clover per acre is highly productive.
Chufa
Chufa is excellent for deer, turkey and hogs. It grows like peanuts except it does not have a shell. Wildlife will scratch and dig them up once they find the tubers, which mature in 100 to 120 days. Plant 15 to 30 pounds per acre in plots of at least 1/4 acre. Plant April through late summer depending on the location.

Clover, "ABC" Ladino Mix
This blend is our own mixture of three Ladino Clovers. These seeds are "RAW" so you may save money by applying the inoculant yourself and using a lower seeding rate of 5 to 8 pounds per acre.
Clover, Bigbee Berseem
Bigbee Berseem Clover is a reseeding annual clover. It does well when mixed with other clovers spread out growing season and increase available forage for animals. Plant 8 to 10 pounds per acre in the fall or spring.
Clover, Dixie Reseeding Crimson
This clover is a reseeding annual clover developed by the Georgia Experiment Station in Griffin. We were the first commercial producers of these seeds over 40 years ago. Plant 20 pounds per acre alone or 12 to 15 pounds per acre with 2 bu. oats, 1.5 bu. Rye or wheat, and 20 pounds Ryegrass August to November.
Clover, Osceola Ladino
Osceola Ladino Clover was developed by the University of Florida. It is well adapted for the deep South and is excellent for deer, turkey and other wildlife. Plant 8 to 10 pounds per acre in the spring or fall.
Clover, Red

Red Clovers are very popular clovers. They have deep root systems, produce high forage yields, and are superior soil builders. Plant 12 to 15 pounds per acre in the fall or spring.

Clover, Subterranean

Subterranean clover is one of the finest clovers you can plant. It is an annual that reseeds very well even under heavy grazing. It was brought to this country from Australia, and it has been used in the South for over 50 years. When seeded in timber land, it provides nitrogen for tree growth. Plant 12 to 15 pounds per acre August to December. Add 20 pounds of Ryegrass to the Clover to create a great mixture.
Clover, White Dutch
White Dutch Clover is a very old and widely used perennial clover. It provides food for all game. Plant it in old logging roads, trails or open patches in woods. Deer, rabbits, quail, grouse and other birds will benefit. Plant in the spring and fall at 8 to 10 pounds per acre.

It has a long growing season, going well into summer. Plant 10 to 12 pounds per acre August to November.

Corn Photo

Corn, Canamaize Dwarf Early
A yellow flint corn growing 4-5’ tall and produces a 6” long ear about 1’ off the ground. Matures in 65-70 days. Small flat grain seed slightly larger than popcorn. Plant 25-30 pounds per acre in 15” rows.
Corn, Dwarf Extra Early
This corn matures in 65 days. Plant around ponds for ducks. It grows 3' to 4' tall, making it accessible to game birds and waterfowl. Plant 8 to 10 pounds per acre March to July.
Corn, Quail
Quail Corn is a corn developed specifically with wildlife in mind. It grows and looks like popcorn, but it was developed to reduce the risk of afflotoxin harming the animals that consume it. This corn does not develop afflotoxin as readily as conventional corn. The kernel size is also "bite-sized" for small birds. Plant as you would any corn crop, but remember the seeds are small. There are more kernels in a pound of seed.

Crownvetch
Crownvetch spreads by seed, stolens and rhizomes. It will grow from Alaska to Africa. It is excellent for beautification. It makes a great permanent ground cover and chokes out weeds. It is good for quail, dove and deer. Plant 5 to 15 pounds per acre 1/4" deep in the spring or early fall.
